DermaPure-OTC is used on 3 consecutive days of application. It will react aggressively against skin lesions that result from sun damage and either nothing or a mild stinging sensation on non-sun damaged skin lesions such as moles or age spots.

When applied to lesions caused by sun damage, you may initially experience a tingling and mild burning sensation within minutes of the first application. After a few hours you may notice pus starting to form over the lesion and mild discomfort may also be noticed.

On days 2 and 3 of the application, the lesion may become mildly to moderately painful and a well-defined sore may develop. This sore will eventually become a scab and will usually fall off in 10 to 12 days.

Often a cavitation, (sunken in area) will be in the area where the scab was. This is normal and will gradually fill in with new tissue over time.

This product is for adults (18 years and older) with visible skin lesions resulting from sun damage caused by excessive exposure to sun.
